2017 14.1-1/2 hand Westfalen Palomino stallion
Goldjunge, a stunning palomino pony stallion, was bred by Heiner Rohmann in Germany. He is the son of the famous Bundeschampion Golden West (now standing in Australia), and his damsire is the legendary pony jumping stallion Oösteinds Ricky. Goldjunge was licensed as a stallion and competed successfully in Germany. Purchased in December 2022 by Heidi Humphrey, Goldjunge was then imported to Ashland Farm in Canada. He competed the 2023 summer in Canada, earning First and Second Level scores consistently over 70%. He has impressed many with his easygoing nature and wonderful movement. He also loves to jump!
After only being in the US for two weeks, Goldjunge won Pony Grand Champion and USDFBC North East Champion Stallion Champion at the 2023 NEDA Breed Show III with very positive comments from the judges, then went on to Devon where he was 2023 Pony Stallion Champion, Mature Pony Champion, and Pony Grand Champion!

Goldjunge has completed his requirements for Westfalen stallion approval and will be standing at Diel Dressage in Hoosick Falls, NY in 2024. He will be tested for WFFS and vaccinated/tested for EVA in January 2024.
