Bred by Heiner Rohmann, licensed stallion Goldjunge, the son of the famous Bundeschampion Golden West (now standing in Australia), came to Ashland Farm in Canada in March 2023 and competed in summer 2023 at 2nd level in Canada, earning several scores over 70%. Goldjunge stands at Diel Dressage in Hoosick, NY. He has impressed all with his friendly, easygoing nature (including giving leadline rides to an 18-month old) and wonderful movement. He also loves to jump! He is half brother to our own Delphine DN (sold in 2023) and clearly shares her sensible nature along with his sire’s outstanding movement.
Goldjunge’s first foal Gershwin arrived in the spring of 2024 and shows many of Goldjunge’s traits, including his striking color. He also sired our charming Mademoiselle Gigi in 2025.
Coming out of quarantine in Canada in summer 2023, Goldjunge earned Canadian Pony Cup High Point Year-End Champion, Open Divison, and Second Level Champion, Open Division. After only being in the US for a week, he was Pony Grand Champion and USDFBC North East Champion Stallion Champion at the 2023 NEDA Breed Show III with very positive comments from the judges, then went on to Devon where he was Pony Stallion champion, mature pony champion, and Pony Grand Champion!
In 2024 and 2025, Goldjunge competed successfully at Second and Third level in the US, earning scores into the 70s.
He is available fresh and has very high motility.
